When you select a device from a known and generally respected chip manufacturer you expect the device specifications to be an honest and true picture of the performance of the device. You don’t expect to have to spend weeks to find a chip fault that the manufacturer has known about for a year. So in the hopes of helping other designers to avoid the delays and wasted time that we encountered, here’s our story.
